When doing so, the nurse teaches the DSP what to do and makes sure the DSP performs that task correctly (OAC 4723-13).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe required Category 1 certification must be current for the Category 2 certification to be valid (even if it is not expired).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll skills in this certification must be delegated by a nurse prior to performing with an individual.
